The owl plays a very important role in this story. He was the reason why Mrs. Frisby met the rats of NIMH. His tale went a little like this:
One time, Mrs. Frisby needed help to save her son Timothy. Timothy was sick with a bad disease called pneumonia.( For more information on pneumonia this is not your website--go to WebMD). Moving day was coming up in a few days, but the mouse doctor,Mr. Ages, said Timothy would have to stay in their house for a few weeks. If they stayed, they would get mowed down by the plow. If they moved, Timothy would die. Mrs Frisby was told to visit an owl in the woods, and he would help her. Mrs Frisby did just that. When she arrived at the tree, the owl was there. Mrs. Frisby was only allowed into his home because she had saved a crow. She explained her predicament to him. He only had one thing to say, and that was, "Go to the rats."
The End!
